Join Us This Sunday for Worship

Going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-wracking, and it’s always intimidating to meet new people. Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church wants to make your first visit with us a great one! As soon as you walk through our doors, you’ll meet a warm group of authentic people who are dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.


We believe that getting to know each other is an important part of cultivating a healthy church family, and we’re eager to get to know you, your family and your story. Visit our church in Owensboro, KY this Sunday for 10:00 a.m. service or stop by one of our weekly Bible studies or community events.

Live in God’s peace and power

Sunday worship is only one step in your walk with God. It’s also important to take advantage of key tools and study materials that keep you engaged with Him throughout your week. One great way to do this is by tuning in to Peace and Power, a podcast hosted by Head Pastor Jim.

Since the early 1960s, Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church has been focused on creating disciple-making communities. If you want to be part of our family, you should know that we believe…


  1. One God created the world and everything in it. God is sovereign, loving and the ruler of the universe. We believe that we can experience God’s love and grace.
  2. Jesus was human, lived as a man and died when he was crucified. Jesus is also the divine Son of God and our Savior, who was raised from the dead and lives as the risen Christ today. In Christ, we receive abundant life and forgiveness of sins, and we are called to pattern our lives after His.
  3. The Bible is God’s Word and the primary authority for our faith and practice. Christians need to know and study both the Old and New Testament.
